The Eemshaven, located on the Eems in northeast Groningen near Delfzijl, is the largest seaport in the Northern Netherlands and part of Groningen Seaports. The deep-sea port, with a draft of 14 meters and more than 5 km of quay length, is mainly used for the transshipment of goods. In recent years, the port has expanded significantly for energy-related activities and one of the largest data centers in Europe has been established here.
A diving team from DTS can be present in Eemshaven within 1.5 hours after a call. It is therefore not surprising that we are regularly called in for diving assistance during calamities, inspections, (emergency) repairs and other underwater work on ships, quays, sheet piles, jetties, ship docks and other structures in and under water.
